This model from FOM looks almost identical to the KUN collapsible shoulder rest. Coincidence or not, FOM provides the same level of comfort with the soft sponge side that rests on your shoulder. The frame of the shoulder rest is made of some form of plastic and is not malleable. You might want to look elsewhere if the shoulder rest does not sit nicely on your shoulder, as there is no chance whatsoever of adjusting the curvature of the frame.

PRICE AND VALUE:

From a range of sellers (both brick and mortar as well as online), the FOM Shoulder Rest retails from USD8 to USD14. This is extremely affordable especially given how similar the shoulder rest is to other more expensive brands. Yes, the quality of materials used in general is slightly lower but it is not night and day.
